2010 Sullivan County Walk Now for Autism Speaks

On Saturday, October 2nd, over 200 people came together at Sullivan County Community College for the 3rd Annual Sullivan County and Neighboring Communities Walk Now for Autism Speaks.  With 21 teams, we raised $17,000 and counting for Autism Speaks, funding work in research, family services, advocacy and awareness.  Without each of our supporters, this would not have been possible, and for that, we thank you.

October 2nd  turned out to be a perfect fall day.  Our amazing committee members joyfully cut the ribbon to start the Walk.  Mystic Entertainment entertained the everyone walking that day with limbo sticks and hula hoops! Family and friends visited the resource fair while kids jumped in the bounce houses.

Thank you and congratulations to Walk Chair Kim Tuckey and the entire Sullivan County and Neighboring Communities Planning Committee!

  1. Please email me. I am interested in creating a walk in my community as a community service event for my students.
