2010 Rock ‘Til It Stops

Shari Goldberg, event co-chair and Mark Roithmayr, president of Autism Speaks

The 4th annual Rock ‘Til It Stops event held on May 1, 2010 was a huge success in great part to the event co-chairs Shari Goldberg and Lori Millstein.  500 participants attended the event held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.  The event to date has raised over $130,000!

Patrons were treated to a private concert featuring Don Felder, a founding member of the Eagles and a 1998 inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Felder played some of his best-known and well-loved classics, including “Hotel California,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Already Gone,” and “Life in the Fast Lane.”

“We were thrilled to have Don Felder here,” said Shari Goldberg, Autism Speaks Cleveland Chapter President and Rock ‘Til It Stops co-chair. “He and his band were awesome. It was a great, great night. We are so lucky to have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as a fantastic venue for concerts right here in Cleveland.”

Patrons were able to stroll through the museum’s exhibits and bid on some outstanding auction items in the name of charity. Going for top dollar: A trip to New York to see the show “Wicked,” a chance to play on stage with Felder; signed guitars; spa packages; and tickets to see tapings of “The View,” “In The Middle,” and “The Martha Stewart Show.”
