2010 Colorado Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Loving our new Walk partner!

Colorado Walk Now for Autism Speaks held its eighth annual Walk in Denver on April 24, 2010 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. A big thank you to Pam Cozard the Colorado Walk Chair and the entire Walk committee for all their hard work and dedication to Autism Speaks and in making this year’s Walk a success!

Thanks to all the participants, resource vendors, and entertainers who battled the crazy weather on Saturday. Much thanks goes to the American Humane Society, and all the dogs that walked with the kids in the wind and rain. Despite the weather conditions, we had 1,000 participants and have raised $150,000 to-date.

For those of you who were not able to battle the elements or for those who just can’t get enough of the fun, we are pleased to announce that there is another chance for you to participate.  Join us on May 15  at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs for the continuation of the Colorado Walk Now for Autism Speaks.  Hope to see you there!!!

Visit our Colorado Walksite for more information on the Walks.

  1. What a great turn out for a really cold day. Thanks so much to the 1,000 that came out and participated at the Denver walk. For those of you who missed it there is another walk on May 15th at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. Come join us!
