These Super All Star kids represent 2 of our Greater Hartford Walk teams: Super Sam Sheidy and Aiden’s All Stars. Even though this snow will be long gone by Walk day, June 5th 2011, they know it is never too early to start fundraising. Thank you for all you do for Autism Speaks!

I am truly happy that this site exists! As a parent of an autistic son, I felt the need to develop my own blog about raising an autistic son so others could benefit from my experience. Needless to say, when my son Joel was diagnosed, I was pulling my hair trying to get Joel the help he needed. Today, we have Autism Speaks!
Keep up the good work!

Hi Rocio, Our Walks are fundraisers, but there’s no minimum fundraising amount required. The walk is typically about 3 miles. Feel free to contact me with any other questions you have.

Hello, currently the closest walk to me is about 80 miles from my hometown so I would love to start a walk in my area. How do I go about doing this? I would assume the process is very time consuming and extensive. Do you provide worksheets or tips? Thank You.
