On Saturday, June 12, 2010, 400 participants gathered for the South Dakota Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. Walkers braved the rain for the third consecutive year yet their spirits were not dampened. Master of Ceremonies Ben Davis, Geoffrey of Toys”R”Us, Thunder with the Skyforce and other Sioux Falls area mascots greeted walkers through the balloon arch. Everyone enjoyed the Sioux Falls Mariachi Band while making the loop of Kirkeby-Over Stadium at Augustana College. To date $28,000 has been raised and counting!
