This year, SMCHS senior Caroline Christ was selected as one of OC Family’s Shining Students. Every June, the magazine publishes profiles of the best, brightest, most talented and hardest working students in Orange County. Caroline is featured in the June issue of the magazine as an “Autism Champion.” Caroline began the first official high school autism club in the state of California affiliated with Autism Speaks.
Caroline and her family, Team Zach Vitto, are avid fundraisers for the Orange County Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Her mother, Diane Vitto, is the executive Walk Chair.
