The 6th Annual Wheeling Walk Now for Autism Speaks was held on Saturday, May 22 at Warwood Trail in Wheeling, West Virginia. This year’s Walk was chaired by Erica Icenhower and Christine Sobutka. Over 300 participated in this year’s Walk and raised over $38,000. Sponsors included Ohio Valley Scale and Wheeling Hospital. There was plenty of entertainment on hand including an appearance by Geoffrey from Toys“R”Us and characters from “Star Wars.”
Thank you to the Wheeling Committee and all the Walk day volunteers, in-kind donors and event sponsors for making this year’s Walk such a successful event. Even though it started raining, we were able to move everyone indoors to enjoy the day.
