The 2010 Treasure Coast Walk Now for Autism Speaks took place on Saturday, March 20, 2010 on a day that would make the Florida Chamber of Commerce proud with blue skies and temperatures in the 70’s at Jensen Beach High School. Over 100 teams and almost 2000 walkers turned out to join Corporate Visionary Sponsors, Fetterman and Associates and John Pierson Toyota of Stuart to walk around the track. $83,000 has been raised so far with more expected in the weeks to come. Walk Chairs Susan Maxwell, Soraya Cedeno, and Karen Kinsley did an amazing job with their volunteers to make sure that everyone had a great day.

Jon Shamber, Captain of the Walgreens Palm Beach North with Cathy Kanefsky, National Director of Chapter Development, and Jaclyn Merens, South FL Regional Director
The festivities kicked-off with the Friends Chorus, a group of special needs high school kids singing three songs and then the Stuart Middle Jazz band took over and played for the crowd. The walk took off behind the Anderson Middle Marching band followed by the Jensen Beach high Tigrettes.
Entertaining the crowd during the festivities was Treasure Coast’s own “Rock Star”, Patrick Gaucher-O’Neill a teenager with ASD who played his guitar and wowed the crowd.

When and where is the Walk this year? I can’t find anything online about the 2011 Walk. I heard it advertised on TV but didn’t catch the dates. Please advise. Thank you.
