On Saturday, October 10, nearly 20,000 turned out for the seventh annual St. Louis Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Walkers strolled through beautiful Forest Park, raising over $731,000 and counting. The morning opened with breakfast followed by singing, dancing and a Grand Club presentation. Over 103 members of the Grand Club were honored after having raised over $1,000 each for the Walk. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed the St. Louis Clydesdales, Rams’ cheerleaders, the fabulous resource fair, and a whole lot of smiling and laughing. The day concluded with lunch, served by Sportservice. Many thanks go to Walk Chairs Tanya Craft and Tricia Merkel for all their hard work and organization.

I was so upset I couldn’t go this year! I’ve been missing it for one reason or another for the past 3 or 4 years. I’ll be there next year, come hell or high water!
Keep hope alive! Thanks to everyone for their support!
