Greater Austin Walk Now for Autism Speaks

IMG_1647

Despite the rain, 1,200 people participated in the fifth annual Greater Austin Walk Now for Autism Speaks at The Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas, raising $91,000.

To start the Walk, the Emmy-nominated Biscuit Brothers performed the national anthem and FOX 7’s Loriana Hernandez cut the ribbon alongside Team CASH. Families enjoyed a resource fair with more than 30 vendors and great activities ranging from face painting to Games2U trucks and inflatable obstacle courses. Many groups, including Alpha Xi Delta and UPS, showed their support by participating in the day’s events.

Special thanks to Walk Chair Pamela Hebert for making the Greater Austin Walk such a success. Read more about the Walk here and become a fan of the Greater Austin Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Facebook.
