More than 2,500 people joined the tenth annual Central New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, N.J on Sunday, Oct. 11, raising $160,000. Nearly 20 school teams registered for the Walk, including seven from Rider University, two from Rutgers University, one from Mercer County Community College and the remainder from local schools – raising over $20,000 so far! Special thanks to returning Walk Co-Chairs Patty and Greg Gillette, who have been instrumental in bringing the concept of community Walk teams to the region by reaching out to the local schools and beyond.
